Ok...I already miss the BIG TrainBoard Logo up top. I know...its not all done yet....but I feel naked...lol:tb-biggrin: Ohhhhhhhh...and I am having a problem replying to threads using IE. Had to use (yuck) Firefox (yuck) :tb-nerd:
I normally use FF but just logged in using IE8 and did not find an issue. Wich version are you running? :tb-nerd: :tb-nerd: :tb-nerd: :tb-nerd:
Give him a little bit, I run many bulletin boards and I know getting everything to look similar to an old layout is sometimes difficult. I'm sure he's not planning on leaving the default Style very long.
As has been mentioned several times in previous notifications, now that the software upgrade is complete there will be a short period where the site will display the "out of the box" look of vBulletin 4. The first step is to ensure all functionality is working, then we will move to restore the look similar to the previous TrainBoard. Please have patience.
Is there a "24 hours of Trainboard" button? I'm not impressed or comfortable with this. Suspicions confirmed so far. Jim
Though this is temporary so to speak, the old format was much better. In fact, what actually drove the change? Now it looks like so many other sites.
As I mentioned a month ago, this would have the look of all the "other" non Yahoo model railroading sites. Bland, and covered with a lack of character. Bummer. Hopefully Mark's posting will come true. Jim
Jim, Right now many things are missing and/or hard to find so give Charlie a chance to get the "Out of the Box" fixed. I have found the 24 Hours option under the "Quick Links" menu near the top of the pages... :tb-nerd: :tb-nerd: :tb-nerd: :tb-nerd:
