if you guys want the pullmans just get them from Wheels of Time. concors arent that bad compared to the past now either, they now have interiors and updated coupler options. LOVE that its the nippon sharyos!!!! hoping hoping for caltrain!!
Besides ConCor, there is Wheels of Time and Look Models. If you want to go hunting you could find NGI brass kits. Union Station makes laser cut lexan kits as well. Union Station Products When modeling rare trains you got to go with whats already made or hold your complaints to yourself. If all else fails get yourself a 3D printer and make your own. Then sell them to us fools who will buy them. For what I paid for my Metra F40 and two Nippon coaches I could of bought Three Metra starter sets, but I couldn't wait the five years for a product I didn't think was coming.
+1 for that! compared to the nippon sharyo cars...who has made that? lookmodels? thats about it. i welcome kato in making these for almost 5x less the cost!
Kato has now done this to me twice. First with the Santa Fe El Capitan Hi-Levels. Now with the Metra. :we2-jimlad:
And I wouldn't mind betting the cab car will have a slot underneath for a Kato FL12 decoder to control those lights with DCC as have all their observation cars since the Super Chief.
I forgot to put this into the supplier lists. Look Models Lookmodel Online Store They make unique brass and stainless cars.
I just got onto his website, it hasn't been updated since December, I'm not sure where he's located in Japan but he may have also been effected by the earthquake.
