Fred, We only have photos of the version with the coal tender at this time. I will have additional photos next month once we are ready to release the locomotives and sets. Rob
Huh?! Ummm... you want me to make a reservation with my payment before I can even see photos of the different versions your selling? EXCUSE ME?!
Of course we expect you to order without the additional photos. That is all part of the fun. Who said anything about payment? This is only pre-reservations. We will not charge for products until they are ready to ship. This is Ztrack's standard policy. Rob
Who cares about the challengers? It's the reefers & caboose we want to see! Hope you can update what can be released in 2010 soon!
I think Hans is, I have to go to visit a public housing project here in DC that weekend. Best, -Rob(A) AZL
Yeah, but it sure would pull a lot more in real life and likely win the contest with a head on vs your car contest )
Single Only. In a fit of total stupidity, I sent the Grey one to Kluz so he could take some good photos of it. I really should have kept it here for myself – it looks awesome. Here are some lousy photos I took of it before the FedEx guy whisked it away to Ohio. These do not do it justice. Oh, and it has traction tires so it can pull lots of cars. Not sure exactly how many. I tested it for running smoothness, but I forgot to throw cars behind it before it went away. Maybe Rob Kluz can give us an answer early next week. This is an approved production sample. The full shipment should come from Korea in 2 weeks or less. Best, -Rob(A) AZL
Wow, That is a thing of beauty. Just Placed my order for one set and after seeing that picture had to get one:tb-rolleyes:
See! This has been my point all along! How do you expect folks to place an order sight unseen?! I think you guys really stepped on yourselves with this one. After seeing this photo... I'm ready to change my mind. That monster looks sharp! BUT... I still want to see photos of the other versions. Com'on, guys... really piss-poor marketing here.
I totally agree with Alex! The marketing of this item has been a mess. How can you expect people to reserve a certain model from the many versions available by showing a photo of only one. Thats like selling some one a ford mustang car but only showing a photo of a 1967 and thats it. when it could be all different styles and models. I consider this release to be a "Big Ticket Item" just like a car. The cost is well over a months salery and how can people make a choice site unseen with that much money involved. Im sure alot of people wont like what i have stated but you know what,There are alot more people in my situation about being able to afford an item like this then there are people who can afford it. I also agree that it is a great item and would like a grey one but at 1/10th of my income, that will never happen. Now that you have worked on this project for such a long time, Can you please get back to making loco's that most of us can afford and enjoy so we can make Z scale grow and thrive.
