I don't think I'll officially join. I do believe I will do some heavy looking on while keeping the momentum I presently have.
Well, this might be what I need to get from phase 1 (track plan on paper and plenty of purchases laying around) and phase 2 (building the dang thing).
We just spent a bunch of money building 400 square feet of new livable space on our house, just for the purpose of building the transcontinental PRR. I will definitely participate this year.
Yes, the next installment is just one week away!! In the northern latitudes, the calendar shows Autumn changing into Winter on December 21, so we'll start our 3rd Annual International Winter Layout Party on the weekend before the 21st...next Friday, December 17, 2010. I'll make the formal announcement of the 3rd IWLP in its own thread this weekend, but the thread will be locked until our Official opening next Friday.

Gentlemen, start your pencils! Yes, time to get your 'other' list made. And think 'obtainable' - you'll feel a lot better if you have to add on another project vs. if you don't get your original one completed. I'd suggest you focus on a section (such as a single junkyard) or maybe build a single structure -- and then go from there if you finish. Be specific as possible.
