It is still kind of early but I will go ahead and kick this off. First off I think it is time to remind everyone of the rules for this thread. As Pete Nolan pointed out last week: It is one of my responsibilities here at Trainboard to start this thread every week. Either I or another staff person in my absence will get it going sometime on Friday mornings. (That would be Friday evening in New Zealand ) And finally, here is a MoPac 4-6-0 at the head of the Sugar Land local, hauling some liquid sugar.
Two Black Widow SD7s depart East Yard in San Antonio for switching duties in Westside. These Life Like engines are very good after the Andre Kritzinger tune-up.
Work for a friend Here are a few shots of some stuff I'm woking on for a friend of mine. The last file is the idea that got me painting. Paul H. Liddiard
Great shots. The turntable pit almost begs to have a photo reenactment of the stereotype "Woops, missed the turntable." :tb-wink:
I just came back this weekend after a lengthy documentary trip, to photograpgh what's left of the Milwaukee Road in western Montana. Have you ever wondered what the restroom looks like in a caboose? Alberton, MT has a real ribside-bay window MILW caboose as part of the town's RR museum. Here's a view or 2: A neat bit of info on these pictures, and one of this very caboose at Janney, MT, on the Pipestone Pass grade east of Butte: And yours truely, in the seat! (photo by Gary Walker)
Nothing from me on the picture of layout front. But..... I am now the owner of a NCE PowerCab DCC system. ADDed it to the N scale Kato Unitrack Peavine line: = GOODNESS - works great. (whew!)
Weekend Photo Fun Well... it may not be as exciting as catching an action shot of 4 EMD's pounding by in Run 8. However, its always good to look at the often overlooked wonders...like the effects of the rusted interiors of gondolas. Just imagine the harsh environments they're exposed to...the loadings... the sun...rain...ice... Have a great weekend everyone! Chad
