Sometime later we caught SP 177 passing through Palisade, CO. The last UP shot yesterday was an empty coal train passing through Clifton, CO. Ben
Some U.P. action from last weekend... Of course the sun was not in favor of my first shot. Sunday my son and I caught the local switching action. Mike will remember this first location. We missed the switching at the scrap yard so we followed HLCX 3856 to it's next stop where they would pick up some empty covered hoppers from the cement plant. Ben
Ah man, to be there again! Thanks for a little reminder about that vacation! Great photos as usual Ben! Mike
Ok Ben, it's been over 2 months.... Did you misplace your camera? haha! yeah, I know, it's really cold where your at, been watching the weather up there, and I can understand you not wanting to go railfanning when the high for the day is still below freezing. Mike
Mike, I have a few photos that I have been to lazy to resize and upload. I'll see what I can do to get them up soon. The forecast for snow may keep me in a plow truck and a way from my computer for the next couple of days. Ben
I finally made time to start resizing some photos. I still have a few on the camera to download. UP 5755 11/21/2010 UP 6579 10/24/2010 Ben
I didn't think it possible, Ben, but you're making those UP units pretty! That's work I'd be proud of! :tb-biggrin:
Ben does have a great backdrop for photographing... :tb-biggrin: :tb-biggrin: :tb-biggrin: :tb-biggrin:
