LOL. Yeah, when I looked at the photos I immediately wondered what all that crud was in and around the cases and locomotives. Yet, idiots are bidding on them.
Oh I don't know, they wound up at $45-$50 each (more than I'd pay for them) but not a horrendous price. If it was just moisture/water I'm sure they can be cleaned up decently, a little scrubbing, drying and a little re-lubing work. Now if they'd been sitting for a very long period of time without having anything done to them with crust forming, then I would be worried. They look as if they still had moisture/water on some of them? I'm sure the "idiot" who won them has a plan...
This was Listed and sold as > N-scale AHM chassis Runs .. In actuality this is a MP MODEL POWER Chassis , Not a AHM Chassis ! Tom

Yikes!!! If I still had mine, I could sell it and retire.... Move the decimal three places left and they might re-enter the real world.
They fixed it. $37.99. Still a long ways from the real world. That thing has been beat to hades. Maybe $10 worth of parts? ETA: scratch that. That's junk. I wouldn't give 10 cents for it.

The caboose is a Hi Speed (Reader Digest give away), so is the box that says 'stock car' (even though there isn't a stock car shown). OK engine, junk everything else...sigh

Southern Pacific 2680 N Scale The fact that it appears to be HO is the least of my concerns about this poor locomotive.
