Hello All Starting a new project i HAVE A TWO PACK OF THE SMALL FUSELAGE Micro train load kit. I'm going to mount them on 2, 53' GN Flat Cars. I'm going to need some mounting brackets to attach it to the decks. Was this load ever offered on a flat car by micro trains. I'm looking for some inspiration on the mounting of these. Thanks In advance Larry
Is this the kit with the beechcraft fueslage? Micro trains recently released a mosquito set which could be used for ideas if so:
Maybe somewhere you can find better pics then construct your own from some scale lumber or 2mm square rod styrene. Picture below is a minitrix Junker set in N scale with a pretty simple bracket. If you like that idea and need better pics I'll dig my set out to grab some for you.
Tracking the tail number off the instruction sheet. It comes back to a 1952 Beechcraft C45-H model which was the military version of the model 18 Beechcraft which some models were made or retrofitted up to 1969, according to one web site. They were made in Wichita Kansas and according to some reports were retrofitted by Boeing with Military equipment. So I think I'm going to make a Beechcraft train where they made the Fuselage in Wichita and Sent it to Evertt to get the military equipment installed on it. And final assembly. Should be interesting to say the least.
