...The one that has all the n scale freight cars etc. I am trying to find the prices for my Aztec track cleaners. I will be selling a handful of them and need to price them fairly TIA .
Go to eBay, inquire and check the box for show only Sold items before you click [Search]. If any have sold within maybe six months (?) or so, you'll see what they sold for. These two came up and there are probably others. Trovestar's data also tracks selling prices for cataloged items, so you might want to look around there as well. Good luck with your search and sale.
OK...I tried Trovestar. All i got was.... Found: 3 search term(s). Search found 0 results (showing 1 through 0) No Search Results found.... With no link to any pages. Am I missing something ???
Searched for Aztec Track Cleaners. That is what the search results showed. Scrolled to the bottom of the page...nothing there...
Yup...not a lot there as Aztec is no longer. What I am looking for is possible resale value of ALL the Aztec track cleaners. I will be selling most of the ones I have here on TB Swap Meet. No bidding wars etc. like Ebay... Just straight up "Here is what I want for them."
I looked at Trovestar, selected Aztec for the Brand, did some scrolling and found four. The TS1101 shows that 3 of these sold for an average price of: $40.97 The TS1106 shows no sale data The TS 1107 shows one sold at $54.95 The TS 1116 shows Collectors value this item at an average of $110.00 If you go back to the Trovestar link, you can type in the six-digit ID Number to the extreme right to see other photos and additional information about the cars. Hope this helps.
Trovestar shows only 3 Aztec cars and I have at least 8 different ones ! I have a lot of other links I saved and few if any show these cars. I am willing to sell the ones I wont be using. I think putting a reasonable resale value...even if below market value...on these may be near impossible... .
Thats the one i used and you can see the search fields i typed in and the results page in the pic i posted ...with no links to that page hardcoaler posted. In all my years I have never had a website baffle me like Trovestars does...
It was the addition of "track cleaners" in the same field that defeated your search. If Aztec alone is entered, you'll get 184 matches for Aztec cars of all types and you can scroll through them. If you click on the [Switch To Advanced Search] box just above the [Search] box, you'll see a more exacting search. If you enter what's shown below, you'll see only the four cleaning cars. I have special access within Trovestar. I'm guessing you too have access to the Advanced Search, but I'm not sure. As with most selling price histories, you might have to do some re-reckoning to calculate a current worth. It's hard to say sometimes.
got it...thnxs !! Odd that the search field wouldn't just accept 'atzec cleaning cars' as a basic search...LOL
