Tichy Train Group is awesome. Bought some street signs and such from them. Haven't opened them yet, or added to layout, but they look really good!
Hmm... I bought some Tichy street signs, but I haven't opened mine either because they all said "STOP"...
Not pictured: Just Plug light hub, 4x port sharing devices-those are strewn about to make sure I can put the right thing in the right place. Catching up the last couple of weeks, some from hobby shops across the internet, some from that auction site, and some from hobby shops that do their online sales through that auction site: Athearn F45 (WC 6654) from a previous release with DCC/sound. Anxiously awaiting 6655 which I pre-ordered awhile ago. Fox Valley Gevo (NS 7517) and its decoder were purchased separately but arrived in the mail the same day. I installed it this morning while I finished my coffee. I really love how simple these are. Railgon weathered runner pack DODX tank car runner pack TTX weathered flat car set-these will run with a set of 3 other TTX flat cars (unfinished kit) I purchased a while ago. They will carry new Nippon-Sharyo bi-levels for delivery to Metra in Chicago. I saw a picture of this on the internet-the coaches were under tarps on flat cars. Between that photo, the Feb 2022 MR article “Modeling a Railcar Load” where M.R. Snell describes how he made a heavyweight coach flat car load, my 5 flatcars and the 5 leftover Kato bilevel shells sitting in my drawer from another project, I figure I can make a really interesting Chicagoland consist. Nice haul. You know I love me some Just Plug lights. It's expensive but I really like that system. I also have all 12 lights hooked to one Hub Me cheap in some ways! But they look awesome. I'd like to see some photos when you have the Just Plug lights hooked up?
Walthers EMD SW 9/1200 with added DCC.Wanted to add sound but just was not enough room under the hood.
Post humans delivered supplies for to be magically transformed into town streets, sidewalks, a warehouse and ... .. ... a brewery! Now to find a magician...
They do have nice selection for both N and Horribly Oversized, errr, Moose mean HO scale (just kidding ). Not sure who else supplies similar quality and variety of windows and doors...
And high quality street signs also. They are awesome and so tiny in N Scale Hope to try some of them on the layout soon. I've had them for weeks.
First purchase since beginning of Lent. Micro-trains of course Both Great Northern stock cars, one with sheep and one with cattle. Both RPO's CNW and Union Pacific. DRGW offset cupola steel caboose.
I got some Easy Streets n scale parking parallel lines from ebay today, https://www.ebay.com/itm/324762052238?hash=item4b9d53a68e:g:ZaUAAOSwcL9hIi3L Also I managed to get one of the DISCONTINUED Kato 20 021 Road Crossing Tracks for $6 plus shipping (a BARGAIN PRICE!). Why they discontinued that, I'll never know. How else can n scale cars cross Kato unitrack?
I just got in 3 more of the MTL railbox graffiti cars from their 2nd series. Still have 6 more to go to complete that set which will arrive soon. Was fortunate enough to source all of these from retailers so as not to have to pay the ebay "premium" that many of these cars go for over there. Also some nice flexi file detail brushes.
