Alas, again no pic, but me and some clubmates took a road trip down to the silicon Valley Lines down to San Jose to see another club. Great information, good times and a giant burrito for the road.
Some CP Work Service cars at Sainte-Thérèse, 42 years ago this month, August 1979: The two that are completely visible can be just read as 404448 "Material and Tools" and 412534 "C??? Diner and Sleeper" (which also sports an ACI label!). At the extreme left is a real oldie, a wood-side boxcar converted to work service, with a smokejack added. The icing on the cake, a beautiful old masonry building housing a piano factory. Photo by my Dad, Roger. I enhanced the sharpness to bring out the details.
I woke up to this train just outside yesterday morning! So much fun to wake up to! Neat! Just before they left town, ....and the view I had from my backyard while drinking java!
5566 is ex NS and ex CR for sure. She is part of the FURX lease fleet now and sister 5564 was there as well looking maybe even a tad worse.
