Once again my skill, which I don’t have anyway, painting, failed me. But guess what I got really lucky and have extra pieces on the Walters Modern Gas Station sprue. So a picture of the mistake and a not perfect fix, but better than the bad paint job. And no I am not touching trying to put on more black paint, I'll just screw it up more, and you'll never see it in N Scale You ever had an Oops? Love the Britney Spears song too! But that's just me Once again, I suck at, and hate painting Does anyone else have or built this kit. I got so lucky it has extra parts as I screwed up painting the fuel pumps too, but there were like 5 extra's, same for some other parts, and some parts I can't even find in the instructions, like the part I am using to fix my bad side door paint job. And others I just can't figure out where they go and aren't in the instructions text or images of assembly? I know what thing I would recommend this kit for sure! Coolest kit I have ever put together for N Scale, and I haven't done many. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That would be coffee Maybe that explains it? Nope, just not good at painting, scenery, wiring, etc... but I keep trying So in my mind it's a Men's an Women's restroom now, as I already applied the Restroom decal Talking about tiny!
Restroom sign, couldn’t get it in focus. Also missed alignment of doors by a hair, but can’t see it normally I promise with a 1 million powered magnifying glass you can read RESTROOM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Their Black or tinted or whatever excuse I can come up with, but I do get your point. And if you want to get really picky, the frame is on the outside Don't think that would pass code? What was left on the sprue to cover up my mistake. No one will ever see them anyway. I knew better than to try and paint it, but did it anyway!
I'd go with it's glass doors to a foyer for bathrooms with doors to the bathrooms themselves just inside I like the solution you came up with.
This is a glass enclosed toilet in Switzerland. The enclosure is a one-way mirror, reflecting from the outside and clear from the inside. I doubt if I could relax enough to be successful.
I've seen many with milky or textured glass. You can see in or out but it allows light. So you can see what your doing.
I have "Oops, I did it again!" moments quite regularly. I model in cardstock so I can mess up in a different medium.
