LOL OK the Star Trek one was funny... I am right now watching the first season of Picard. I actually like it, most of the critics didn't. I think they were expecting him to jump back onto a ship and be the captain he was, just like Kirk did in the movies. The only thing I don't like is how there are so many Romulans in StarFleet so soon. Oh well... I wonder if they are going to tie this into the story like in Discovery? Now that would be interesting.
Does anybody else remember the cartoon in an old MR that shows a guy and his wife in a hobby shop and the wife is off looking at something and the guy is buying a locomotive. He asks the hobby shop owner if he can wrap the loco to look like a parcel of strip wood. Doug
A friend of mine use to sell trains in the local ACE Hardware...used ACE paper bags to send trains supplies home for home repairs.
Anyone remember the comic that was at the end of a Model Railroader mag? I remember one that had a very shaky-looking train table, and the guy was holding a level that he thought was broken... "The little bubble was stuck!"
A chocolate wienermobile on rails. I had no idea. It's a weird and wonderful world. Well, weird, anyway.
This Brings Back Memories to a time when Engineers were looked upon and us kids had a love affair with big metal. Love those days
