Logging loco, I hope the new medication works out for your wife and she feels better quickly. Tim, hopefully things will improve, and you get what needs to be done, done. Getting here late. Monday was crazy with taking down the Christmas tree and looking at refrigerators. Then Monday our six-and-a-half-year-old Guinea pig died suddenly. I spent a good part of yesterday making arrangements with the vet for his cremation and return of his ashes. I did get a few things accomplished over the weekend. I sealed the Intermountain covered grain hoppers and weathered and sealed two Red Caboose tank cars and two Bowser PRR livestock cars. I weathered four Bachmann poultry transport cars. I still need to seal them. I also sealed five cabooses in preparation for weathering. I cleared out an old closet in the basement and I am now using it to store my locomotives.
I am and will -- surgery is scheduled for the 28th -- probably be in the hospital at least a week and about 6 weeks recovery before I can go back to work -- but I am hoping to be able to do some short spurts of modeling before then!!! -- the glass is always at LEAST half full and getting much fuller
Cynthia and spent the weekend looking for a new apartment and found one that sounds promising. We have an appointment tomorrow morning to look at it and fill out the application. It should be bigger than the one we have now. It is 1037 sqft with two bathrooms, Cynthia says Yeah. Our apartment now is 950 sqft with one bathroom. Is it morning yet? Can't wait, we are both pretty excited. Joe
Rats, the apartment has a large living and dinning room but small bedrooms so it's not going to work for us. Tomorrow we are going to keep looking, we would like to stay in Broken Arrow and there are several more to search for. Most are listed on Google and that helps cut down on driving. Onward we go. LOL Joe
