Seeing some of Rich's links and noting the manufacturer. Oh dear, there seems to be a slew of them on Amazon, some with Prime shipping. Must...resist.... https://www.amazon.com/s?srs=20245376011
Speaking oh HEAT.... Its 8 AM here and 80 degrees outside. Its supposed to get up to 95 today. Which means it will be over 100 degrees in THERR RV. Think I will go out and power up the RV and turn the AC on right now. I plan on doing some scenery work today ! .
We had 108 here in Las Cruces yesterday. That broke the record by 5 degrees. Inside it is for us as well. Can you imagine 128 in Death Valley yesterday!! Mike
On a side note: We are getting our afternoon monsoon showers now. Since redoing some bad areas on the RV roof I havent seen any water dripping anywhere inside THERR RV. Wooooohoooooo !!
Yes, yes I can, it is a lot better 126° in Needles with 95% humidity. I thought that my AC failed in my car until I stopped for gas that day.
We have been enjoying a much cooler than usual season. (And more rain.) No really hot days, and nothing remotely close to any records.
As most of you know...Rick Brodzinsky printed me up some 3 rail pasture fencing. We both knew they where going to be fragile...as thin as they are. I've spent weeks trying to 'plant' the fence. I broke more then I got set in. All you had to do was look at em wrong and they just turned into little pieces !! I about gave up ! I told my wife I was this close >< to putting up 6' chain link around the pasture ! She said that wasnt happening! She said she had an idea and to give it one more chance. After she 'fixed' them last week...I finally got out there this morning and planted them. Wasnt expecting them to work. I was pleasantly surprised. Getting the holes drilled right in the layout was/is a pita ! BUT...the fencing doesnt break ! The fencing aint perfectly level and straight...but we can live with it. She is happy....no chainlink....lol We are about half done putting the pasture fence in Oh...her secret to stop them from breaking......................... She brushed some white school glue on them ! After they dry they bend and twist but they dont snap ! The school glue dries pliable . We are both happy. .
That is a cool idea for those fragile parts. BTW, you know what would look good with that fencing...……….. (See your post in the JPT Sub thread )
Glad you worked around the fence breaking. I'm surprised by that... ... the FDM ones are really flexible. I didn't know there was that big of a difference between it and resin But then again doing some fiberglass work on the race car it can shatter at a certain stage of bending. If someone wants to print FDM ones I have my printer files on thingiverse for the ones shown above... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4396024 ... they would work well for round horse corals and/or other places you don't want fencing in straight lines. More on them here... http://1fatgmc.com/RailRoad/3D-Printer/20-05-24 Fence-10.jpg Sumner
Sounds like I live not too far from you. If your Port Angeles Eastern Ry sticker relates to where you live... Then yes I do live near you!!
You got yourself a smart wife there. Also, studies indicate that most cattle don't care if fencing is particularly neat or not.
