Not quite as quiet in Roseville yesterday evening. A westbound intermodal pauses briefly waiting for a green. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
From July 1981 at Hudson, OH on the former PRR, an empty ore train makes its way back to Cleveland for another load. A crew change was made at the depot, which is now gone. The branch to the right of the depot that ran to Cuyahoga Falls and on to Akron is mostly gone too.
There was a bridge like that in my home town (long gone). I loved going under it because it was soooo looow!
In keeping with the theme: MBTA GP40X from 2009 in the snow at Roslindale Village. MBTA GP40X from 2014 leaving station in Hanson, MA.
"Storming West at Foxholm" A relatively fresh AC4400CW rebuild leads westbound train #199 and barrels towards Foxholm, ND at full track speed. The disused and ancient Soo Line codelines lay derelict in the weeds.
May 1998: CSX C30-7 #7024 is in a rare paint scheme with the old gray & blue but a “bright future” slanted yellow nose added later. Paired with a Conrail SD60M, 7024 rests next to the sand track in Grafton, WV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This was a quick happy accident today! Lots of different owners on the cars, and a neat couple of numbers on the DPU units at the rear!
Dr. Doolittle with a Pushmepullyou. Delightful movie enjoyed by our youthful age, regardless of our physical age.
Ok, the numbered DPUs were cool, but I was hoping for something like a C40-8W and C44-9W lashup: 867-5309... You're welcome....
