As the earliest era on my layout covers the bicentennial period I wanted to have at least one bicentennial loco or caboose. Saw this one on ebay for a reasonable price and it arrived today.
Yeah they had the gloves on sale last weekend for about 50% off. As for the masks I don't think they are rated for anything except large particles like sawdust. I use a respirator type when I fire up the airbrush. Sort of looks like Darth Vader without the helmet.
Always love to see the California Zephyr sets from Kato. They did a great job with them. I think they did five different sets over the past 15 years... which I have all of them . Now if they can get to the North Coast Limited... that would be great. Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk

Several detail items for the layout and a M/T weathered covered hopper (at least that is what it's supposed to be) are in the box that arrived late yesterday. My wife has placed it in quarantine for 24 hours before she will disinfect the box, open it and wipe down the packaging inside before I can have it.
Revisited Harbor Freight today. The shelves where the gloves are kept were bare with a sign saying that Harbor Freight donated all their gloves to local hospitals.
Yep. Partial quote from an email that I got a few days ago: So we’ve decided to donate our entire supply of the personal protective equipment items listed below to front line hospitals with 24 hour emergency rooms in the communities served by our stores. • N95 Masks • Face Shields • 5 and 7 mil Nitrile Gloves If you work at a hospital with a 24 hour emergency room in need of these items, please ask the office in charge of procurement at your hospital to click here so they can provide us with the information we’ll need to determine if we can make a donation.
