It always saddens me, when young folks have problems. Hopefully you're back on the mend. Your work & posting are always an inspiration to me and others. I'll see if I can get some pictures of a few of my projects posted. Gene
Hello Candy! I've been off Trainboard almost 2 years, spending most of my train-net time on Facebook. Wanted to get back. I'm in N and I usually look at N pages- but where was the fantastic Candy modeler? Glad I stalk- - I mean found you. Wow, great project. I remember my 300 game. Unfortunately, that was golfing.
KLA, I can relate as I too have had 300 games, also in golf, I play a special version of golf. You know military golf, right, left, right, left, r, l, r, l ........... Carl
You guys are hilarious. I used to at least be able to keep the ball somewhere on the fairway until a good friend of mine, who was a really good golfer, tried to help me improve my game. After that, fellow golfers knew to always look for me in the trees. I quit golf. Doug
Hello guys. I will be back working on my alley in January. A friend is helping me sell some of my stuff. I need the room for new stuff...and the money is nice too.
? Anybody know anything about this lady and this project. It is a shame to see it dying on the vine after all the hard work already put into it. She hasn't "been seen" on TB since 01/07/2020. I hope that she is physically OK! Concerned, Carl
Candy, sorry to here of you bad weeks, but I know how that goes. Get your rest and we'll be looking for your project update. Gene
Candy, Good to hear from you again. Best wishes for things to improve for you. Have missed your posts and excellent modeling.
Candy: Check out Paper Creek model works. They have several different styles of printed wood flooring.
You can fairly easily design and print your own paper floors. I have done a few for the small businesses on my Japanese modules using Visio. Here is one example on the dry cleaners. For the full details: http://tokyo-in-nscale.blogspot.com/2012/01/first-attempt-at-inside-store-details.html
