I know Man i know is that what they mean welcome to Hell lol. Spent many a summer in the desert southwest delivering goods going from a comfortable 68 degree cab. Then opening yer door to be greeted by a blast furnace. Benn there done that i'll stick with my Everwett State here in the Northwest. TTFN
Bremner lives down on the desert floor of Arizona. I live up in the mountains of Arizona. Its way to hot down there ! I lived in the Phoenix area for 20+ years ! Here in the mountains...we are and have been in severe drought conditions for many years. Forest fire danger is really high almost year around. Never enough rain up here...
Currently 34, expecting a couple inches of snow in the next few hours. Then overnight lows expected to drop toward single digits. (Way lower than is normal!) No bugs, no bees, no dusty, gritty, sweaty... Just fine by me.
now that’s my type of weather... I want to move to Arizona. For a short while I owned some land near Kingman but sold it for 2x what I paid, and did nothing with the land, I couldn’t pass up the deal. I will eventually make it down there. Yesterday was 40 something all day, thankfully no rain as I had to work outside.
76 +/- miles from the summit of Stevens pass bout as green as the trees here lol. Arizona is a lot better off right at the moment compared to the Devil's playground in California at the moment.. Pitty everyone in California at the moment.
@Massey I live up Noth of y'all in Everwett hehehehehehehe lol. Think I need a beach blanket a towel won't do lol.
I'm with Ken. It's cold in north-central ND, and I can ALWAYS put more on. At some point, it's illegal to take more off; thus I can handle the cold much better than heat. Back on topic, I've not bought any model paint in over 10 years. I doubt any of my old Model Flex and Polly Scale stash is any good.
You'll be surprised. If you caps are tight and you stored them upside down, you have a good chance they are still good. Maybe a drop or two of thinner.
It's 39 in the Tulsa area with drizzle, wish it would warm up so I can cut some plywood for my layout. I always turn paint bottles upside down to keep the paint from setting up as fast. They will last a long time this way. Joe
I put a fresh liner in of wax paper EVERY TIME I open a jar. I have paint that's still usable after 15 years, no kidding. I have some Floquil that is probably 20 years that is still viable with a whole lot of stirring and shaking. I also add some #6 shotgun pellets into jars that need a little extra help. And when I cap off a jar, I always give it a little shake to spread paint back up to the lid seal, another tip.
