Good morning from mostly cloudy and warm Northeast Ohio, rain expected this afternoon. Russell, thanks for starting us out, I have always liked 4-6-0's! I managed to finish a couple of cars this week. Atlas (Ex Branchline) 40' Boxcar Kit. Used the coorect ends and roof to replicate the TH&B 40' Boxcars ordered in 1949 and 1953 from National Steel Car. Car was painted in the Tiger Cat #2 Scheme (to homor the Hamilton Tiger Cat Football Team) which was used from 1955 on. Also added the 1967 Canada Centennial with the Green Maple Leaf which was added in 1966 and 67 to the cars. Car was used for clean lading service like flour and sugar. Painted with Scalecoat II Reefer Yellow and Black Paints then lettered with Aberdeen Car Shops decals. Next up an Athearn 2893CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II UP Covered Hopper Gray paint and letted with Microscale Decals. Many of these cars were used to move Soda Ash for various industrial and home uses. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski

I like your B&W photos. It's sad how many cities are recreating trolley and interurban systems that they destroyed 60-70 years ago. "Too soon old, too late smart."
The other side of the MoP ten wheeler. The mechanism is from a Micro-Ace pacific. The motor was moved to the tender and fitted with a drive shaft.
It’s 1980 Something….And Playa Desnuda is not the nice, bustling beach city that it once was. The area has become the slum of the future. Who would have guessed that the Crud would be the cleanest thing in this picture.
