The Great Train Show is occurring this weekend at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose CA. Saturday was a really fun day, and we have an amazing layout set up (as do all the other groups, representing T, Z, N, HO, HOn3, O and G scales). This was one of our largest layouts in recent years, combing with 9 modules from Sacramento FreeMo-N; to get everything in, we ended up spiraling the layout, making for some squeezing Counting the staging yard, there are basically 4 "lanes" of traffic!

That was a great show. Now I know why I saw some different modules in your layout this time, they were from Sacramento. We over at the Ntrak layout noticed how fast you guys were able to take down your layout Sunday evening. By the time we were loading our trailer you were long gone. Looking forward to the next one !
We were packed and out by 5:15pm (75 minutes) -- including time for group photos (Ryan has them, not I). Could have been faster, but getting all those Sacramento modules into Ryan's vehicle took extra time.
It takes a few days to recover from a show. The setup and tear down take effort and then the fun part of running trains...you try to maximize it. Here are a few photos I took:
