Howdy folks, here are a few pictures on the subject. On my layout is the Canadian nature, British Columbia, the main actor. The long freight trains are an interesting minor matter. I can not explain it differently. View attachment 197006 View attachment 197009
Thanks for rating. That's a job of a few years to make it that way. The trees are custom made by Anita Decor Netherland. So far i have had about 4500 pieces made. It's totally crazy, i know. Look here: https://www.anitadecor.nl/c-1205040/willkommen-bei-anita-decor/
Thanks. They dont' have their price online, but sounds expensive - I presume the crazy part? If so - crazy to pay, or go crazy making so many trees ;-). I've been pondering how to make a forest of 100% crown closure out of puffballs for below the crowns, and just the top spikes of the confers. Still a lot of spikes and would have to do the full tree along the edge. How high are your trees?
The trees are different high. On average about 12 cm and sometimes even up to 20cm. You can easily do that in Nscale. Look around in the nature and you can see how tall trees can become.
I figure it's like going to a movie you end up hating. The only thing stupider than paying for a movie you hate is staying until the end because you paid for it. I've already decided I'll take modeling railroading as far as enjoyable, and when it stops being enjoyable (hopefully never but...) I'll quit and not beat myself up for the money spent. Rationalizations. Another movie reference - the Big Chill. "Rationalizations are more important than sex." "Nothing is more important than sex!" "Oh ya, when's the last time you went a whole week without a good rationalization..."
