Looks like the body of a die cast push train. Kinda like what I posted, but a more reasonable price. My dad gave me some toys like this when I was little, that were his back in the early 50’s.

Years ago found an Atlas PRR boxcar #83247 as a Micro Trains car. Said the bottom of car said Micro Trains so it is a Micro Trains. I have several of this Atlas car from the 70's. George Irwins shows this same car.

PRR 83247 does indeed seem to be a popular road number. Trovestar shows that Atlas did it as both a single door and double door 40', plus Con-Cor may have done its own double door 50' version, all using the same road number! Like the eBay seller, we can all double the worth of our car fleets by simply adding M-T floors to non-M-T cars and getting indignant when asked about it. :)

Back when Kadee was their name, during the early 1970's, they sold a conversion underframe which many of us used on such as Atlas, Con-Cor, etc, to create a better quality piece of rolling stock. These items allowed us to either employ truck mounted couplers or body mounts. This is what that seller is likely mistaking. For all we know, it could be one of my items, from over 45 years ago!

Yep... and I sold a few of those Kadee underframes on eBay a while back... they were particularly useful as they had body mount couplers. I found one in the pile of stuff a couple of days ago but managed to misplace it again.

PRR 83247 -- what happens when the OEM for the Atlas First Generation cars is too lazy to change road numbers. Ah, those were the days... not...

You've heard of the tunnel motor? Well judging by the comical conical shape, I believe that's the rare and fabled funnel motor.

Seller lists the smoke box front as in the parts bag, and probably not a bad buy for a modeler set in the 1880s era. Probably good for two 34 foot Overtons. One of my RR library books has a photo of the actual loco.

Mehanotehnika strikes again. The paint looks like the old Model T process of dipping the shell in paint and letting the excess drip off.

What I find most annoying is that he wants that kind of money for something that he is selling AS-IS and has not bothered even to test run.
