There's a not-so-fine-line between weathering and just plain old "dirt." This thing looks like somebody's kid took it to the sand box to play with: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kato-Burli...706434?hash=item590c323582:g:ZhYAAOSweKda8Jpo
Not only did they take it out in the sand box, looks like they messed up the valve gear on the other side. Sure would be nice to see a photo of the other side of the locomotive. Someone needs parts for a Kato Heavy Mikado no doubt. And as I was typing this the seller ended the auction due to an error in the listing. The plot thickens me thinks.
So it isn't expensive, but ever wonder what an SP overnight GONDOLA would look like if done with really bad decals? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Southern-P...331972?hash=item285a849c04:g:at4AAOSw--Fa3~Wl
Two SP cabooses, not expensive, but because of their age and the poor shell (from the '60s) these are just junk (worth less than $0): https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Ra...115856?hash=item467b2ad710:g:BZkAAOSww3tY4arl https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Ra...127877?hash=item467b2b0605:g:HVQAAOSwSv1XlsSB
I think this was posted before so it may be back. Rivarosi SP Daylight coach complete with missing paint for $30: https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Ar...501760?hash=item3b0a74de80:g:6zAAAOSw44BYgY7n
Under N scale/passenger cars. A Switchmaster Rail Car Shuttle (doesn't look N scale however): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Switchmast...625647?hash=item1caa61e12f:g:QpUAAOSwwz5axua5
I always knew that brass was valuable, but these engines seem to be made of gold (about double what I've ever seen them sell for...and if they do sell, I'll be listing mine as well): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Key-Import...951135?hash=item41e22504df:g:QrgAAOSwg7pa-wIh https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Br...961411?hash=item41e2252d03:g:68AAAOSw9mFa-wOz
...and a brass B&O covered hopper. Wait, it isn't even N scale (it's HO). https://www.ebay.com/itm/brass-over...317008?hash=item3d5d7a8a90:g:n4sAAOSwWGxasXFa
How about a custom painted Kato F-40? Must be a Seattle Seahawks fan: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kato-Custo...049009&hash=item467c22e452:g:ePkAAOSwq-1a75qK
A 'vintage' Revell train set from the '60s. Other than it is really old (and someone may want it just for that reason), nothing in it is really usable: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Revell-Lak...421266?hash=item2cc4080652:g:l-QAAOSwjqVZC5kV
Heading says "Large Lot of N Scale Trains Bachmann Fleischmann Mixed 56 total", but I see mostly Roundhouse rolling stock. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Lot-...195082?hash=item1a45eb408a:g:7hAAAOSwdqRalrjX
Rivarossi Big Boy for brass prices: https://www.ebay.com/itm/RIVAROSSI-...374133&hash=item3f9ad57a77:g:TnAAAOSwhURZh1HL
My favorite wrong category listing of the day: A Happybuy Lolly waffle maker https://www.ebay.com/itm/Happybuy-1...954829&hash=item285783eda3:g:FTYAAOSw4Zxazy8n
Hey, and for only $600. I have an old Revel Rapido catalog with this set within and marveled at it as a kid.
"The train engine does power on. I can hear the motor but would need some attention." Such as? It sounds to me as though it does not move???
And if the Seller keeps it up, he'll quickly fry the motor. Rapido's li'l 0-6-0 was made in serval variants and isn't a bad runner. It didn't have tender pickup, but it rarely stalled. I ruined mine years ago trying to strip the paint.
Just because the loco says Atlas on the bottom and fits in the foam cradle doesn't mean it's an SD26. And define, “The engine has been tested and runs well. The engine is in good condition with some wear." Oh well, at least they include the coupler clips for an Atlas SD26. Those should come in handy in case anyone buys and receives actual Atlas SD26. You know, like the one that SHOULD be in this box. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Atlas-N-Sc...934798?hash=item3622bb4f0e:g:mOIAAOSwb1JZ07h0
