Clicked "Like", but actually do not... The amount of damage fork lift operators did to box cars is stunning. Some cars requiring many tens of thousands of dollars during their life spans. Not to mention the lost revenues while those cars were idled, in or awaiting repairs. Writing as one of those who had to spend the hours fixing their aftermath, .

That ATSF SD45-2 looks fantastic and I don't know that I've ever seen a pic of an NP switcher in this scheme. Really cool!
To add on to Ken's info, the original number is 127. Don't know what the original scheme on it was either. However, I do know that this loco still exists today. It's on display in Albia, Iowa as Burlington/RELCO 602.
NP Shop Loco 6 (This thing was built from a retired EMC motorcar, or at least part of one anyway), Tacoma, WA, 1958 (Fred Byerly) Great Northern's Western Star (Train 27), headed by BSB F3 367A, rolls near Minnetonka, MN in 1968 (Fred Byerly)
Although I clicked "Like", I never did care for the GN BSB scheme. It did not weather well. The paint on every unit I ever saw, flattened and weathered badly, in a short time. Easily seen in this photo, above.
