I was just contemplating renewing my web site hosting. Suddenly it dawned upon me, I am weeks from completing ten years of having that site. It has been an interesting adventure, learning up through HTML5 and CSS3, now just looking at newer..... Have tried to make it all as mobile device friendly as possible, but have not quite mastered making it fit everybody's screens. So many sizes to fill out there! I hope a few folks have enjoyed looking at a few or my railfanning photos, depots, train orders, blueprints and more! Will see how much further into the future it goes!
I've enjoyed my numerous visits to your site Box. Your mix of categories makes it unique and it "runs" well too, with no glitches.
Congrats for sure, I do enjoy looking and most of all learning from your website Ken. But I also understand the $$ and time involved to keep same going. Whatever you decide will be OK. Just do what you think is right for you. Tom
I have tried, very hard, to make the whole site as user friendly as can be done. I am grateful for your kind words!
Congrats on 10! Funny, I was at the Warden site (your CBRW page) just the other day. We just picked up L and L Farms as a customer, so I was out that way - saw what surely had to be a Great Northern locomotive in the distance. Unfortunately, after a day of working around their computers, I didn't remember to take another look at the locomotive. I was also looking at your BN photos - that last pic of the F9 838 was kind of heartbreaking. Also annoying to some extent. If that picture was taken in 1980, that means that paint was only 10 years old at the max. Obviously it was just dashed on to cover what looks like NP underneath it? Thanks for the postings - and your hard work here on the forum! .
Probably was that ex-BNSF unit. Many years later, still not repainted. Yes. The F unit was ex-NP. BN paint back then could show many hues of green. Such quality, (not), and you see there is one reason why.
