Guys, i am scratchbuilding a refueling platform. On the top is the lube oil tank, on the bottom the fuel pump (the main diesel tank is just outside the module on the bottom). I was wondering how to scratchbuild the hose and pipe connecting the diesel fuel tank car to fill the main tank. Does anyone have pictures, drawings, or just explain what to put where... Thank you...
Ciao, Here is a picture of one unloading devise. One of many, I would think because in my younger days I have used elbows that were 90 degrees . This pictured style would be easier to use, I think. Have fun, Carl Here is a different style.
If you are looking for pictures of the fueling station that may be difficult. To get to the laundromat I use an overpass over the beginning of the yard here in Appleton. That part is well secured in the middle of the yard and well guarded.
I can find tons of photos. Take your pick. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=railway+oil+unloading&FORM=HDRSC2
Thank you for your info, here is the finished job. (Almost) http://trenoincasa.forumfree.it/?t=75182581&st=45#lastpost
Sorry, finally managed to get on a real computer.... and from the other side... and, as a bonus to "beg forgiveness"... the inside of the loco house, still to be finished
