I've clicked on it something like 20-25 times hoping the seller might get the hint. Guess I better get clicking some more.
Posting it here probably got him most of his clicks. Maybe sellers should check the various media "Ebay Humor" threads appropriate to their wares to see how they are coming across.
Since it is a 2-8-3, how can it be "New" and "undamaged"? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bachmann-50...316998?hash=item1c89a41846:g:qTsAAOSwMvtZUvBH
As it has two more wheels, it might be worth more than a 2-8-1. Yet it could also be worth less than a 2-8-5.
Yes, a 2-8-5 would be "rare" and "hard to find", while this 2-8-3 is just a B-man Berkshire with one missing wheel (but only in the description).
I'm gonna bid on it. Probably run good with my Con-Cor 2-11-1 and my B-Mann 2-7-7-2 I guess some Sellers think PROOFREADING is for the AMATEURS!
Not me, I'm holding out for one of those "rare" 1-1-1s. Sometimes, I find them under "For repair or parts."
So far nobody is trying to sell an all too common 0-5-0 switcher. So many of those available, they have little resale value.
Here's a rare find for you: http://www.ebay.com/itm/14-SECTIONS...777031?hash=item33d20380c7:g:t1wAAOSw6YtZWFaj In the description area the seller writes: "14 SECTIONS, 30" LONG OF ATLAS FLEXIBLE TRACK IN EACH SECTION. NEW OLD STOCK. EXCELLENT CONDITION. MADE IN USA. Very rare track that is hard to find!" Yeah that Atlas code 80 track is rare as can be.
Dunno if this will fit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Highway-Billboard-/292126241792?hash=item440414b400:g:VxgAAOSwZ4dZIt~d
