    Yay Athearn is releasing more 2-8-0s and Overton cars.
    Boo. No redesign, to accommodate DCC....

    Somehow I don't equate modeling" with electronics. Probably because I suck at electronics but not so much with modeling. Red wire, black wire, I get. Add an orange wire and things can get really weird.

    I note that the artwork shows the correct wood beam passenger trucks instead of the freight arch bars the cars have come with for decades.....
    ......no bets that they tooled the trucks!!!!

    You'd be in big trouble if you ever decide to use Unitrack. The power feeder wires are blue and white.

    Don't think so. I transitioned from white wire/black wire to red wire/black wire. It is when you add the orange, blue, white, purple etc. wires that things get funky.
