When you've spent an hour, while your boring work conference call is on in the back ground, meticulously removing and soldering in a new drop in sound decoder. paying careful attention, making good solder joints...only to put it on the track and get nothing. And your volt meter has a dead battery so you can't check anything. UGH. This was a hand me down sound decoder, so it may have not worked when I got it, but still.
At least you haven't paid full retail for the sound decoder... Yet... At least your voltmeter will read volts without a battery... Even if what you need right now is an ohm meter... At least you can solder. That's more than some people can say. At least you had something to do while your boss proved how boring he or she is. That, too, is more than some people can say. Feel better?
Actually I do. And if I did break it, alas I will be replacing it as this was a project for the club. Also, alas, my volt meter is digital, so it will read nothing. Sent from my SM-T377V using Tapatalk
