SP&S #42 SW-9 returning to Spokane with wood products. I just finished the three cars, a SP&S Woodchip boxcar, a Milw. 'ribside' Veneer car and SP&S 730 a NP original sold to the SP&S and served to 1962...
Terrific scene, Marty! I always like seeing how others model girder bridges crossing multiple tracks, since I have a similar track arrangement on my layout. - Jeff
That's great! I like the veneer car... I have four of them I bought from you, maybe I should post a photo, too, .
Still working on getting a picture of a Milwaukee Road local with veneer cars. I just tried to get a fifth veneer car, too, but someone else was apparently more desperate to get it, as they went sky-high with their bid, .
Yes! I love this. The SP&S loco is great and I am so glad to see that sort of veneer car modeled. I am not sure I've ever seen something like that RTR with load.
Hmmm...Popular car!!!!! Just receive two MT double doors. Going to build two more of the 'veneer' cars. Stay tuned!!!!!
Alright, as promised, a Milwaukee Road local featuring two Marty Coil cars: Caught the same train later in the day after making a couple pick-ups:
Well, I got this from someone on another forum a couple months ago, with the intention of taking some proper SP&S local photos. Just tried to get a Marty Coil SP&S caboose to go with it but apparently the deck was stacked against me on eBay.
WO)W!!!!! Nice Pics. You have quite a few of my efforts. Thanks so much for your interest. Sorry about the caboose you missed out on. All I can say is I hope to make a few more. Love the photos!!!!!!!!
