Talking D&H Model purchases

Been spending lots of Mad $$$ recently to add to my ever growing collection of D&H models. Hopefully I can get them added to my photo inventory on the DHVM soon. If you have D&H Models that I don't have listed please let me know and maybe include a roster photograph of it. This way we have a photo roster of all D&H models ever made.

I got two more D&H N Scale cars in the mail today. I am so far behind in DHVM work it's disgusting and that includes getting my model collection photographed and logged onto the site.

New models

I just purchased 3 new Atlas D&H RS-36's....but I immediately tore them apart to fix the fuel tanks. I have one done and am working on the others. All in all, they are fantastic models for the price. Of all of the D&H ALCO's....the RS-11's and 36's were the ones I have the most "experience" with....so the RS-36 is a welcome sight on my roster of D&H locomotives.

How do we send photos? In what format and size?

I have photos taken in late70's early 80's that might be of interest.

Also gotta learn how to use digital to take close ups.

You can get them to me several ways and I will take it from there.
  1. Email them to me via my website
  2. Upload them to RailImages & I can download them
  3. You can send me a CD/DVD with them
  4. Send me the photos and I will make scans and send them back
  5. Other???
I can handle most formats but JPG/JPEG is preferred. I will resize them as needed for posting on a website.

Drop me a PM if you need details...

I got two of the RS-36's and a Life Like RS-11 done and operational. The Atlas units run like a dream....better than brass. I corrected the fuel tanks, added grab irons, brake lines and a few other details. I am very happy with them. I posted some tips on the modifications over on the Yahoo page.

Darren, this probably doesn't belong on this thread, but I just read in Drury's "Guide to North American Steam Locomotives" about the D&H John B. Jervis. Do you have any photos of it on the site here?
