New Layout Design Contest with Prizes
I present to you the potential to design an interesting modular layout to fit in a 12X10' space...there are plenty of givens and druthers available in detail at this site:
http://modelrailroading.wordpress.co...ayout-contest/ Prizes will be awarded, the Winner will recieve a very interesting model or service of equivalent cost, should they want one. The Scale is HO, for the record. So grab your pencils and graph paper (or XtrakCAD) and have at it. The contest will run one Month from August 10th to September 10th. I will field design questions and other information throughout that month in this thread and I'll be happy to work with everybody to get the most out of their trackplans. One last note is that it doesn't have to fill the entire 10X12 space, smaller layouts are just as good! Have Fun! I can't wait to see what you guys and gals come up with.
