ATSF Line Started

Tonight I finished the start of the ATSF Line bench work at Pinole. This is just a simple straight line between Richmond and Franklin Canyon.

Cardboard webbing will go from the ATSF Line down to the SP Main and begain forming the hills between the two lines.

Somewhere in here will start a yard lead to Richmond.

This end here is going to be wider and even though it's down much further in real life will have the Pinole station. (Modelers licence.

I saw this picture in a ATSF calender and thought I had to figure a way to put it on the layout. Simple scene, yet very full on wonderful details. The ties, the signals, the name PINOLE on the station, just a great scene!
So, it's going on the far corner. Where the tracks curve away, it will go throught a backdrop, and come out on the other side into Franklin Canyon.
