    Matthew,

Those weathered boxcars look great, did you use an airbrush or chalks?

Chalks, don't have enough money for an airbrush. Seems to have a lesser learning curve, too. :giggle7yc:

    Post Prototype Photos!

More Photos, Proto this time, taken during a tour of Texas Crushed Stone, one of the largest quarries in the U.S., located in Georgetown, TX:

I like the Baldwin S12 the best, but the GP20s a bit of an oddball, too!

A couple of shots from the recent Bay Area Prototype Modeler's Meet, taken by me:

    Some great modeling!

This meet was on April 30, 2006, in Fremont, California:

I completely forgot to take any pictures of my models there. Oh well (smile).

    Enjoy.

    Cool

    Hemi:

That's a "Cheater Boxcar". I'm using a 50' boxcar shell with the frame of a LL GP-20 with the motor. There's also a Lenz 521W decoder inside the shell. I use the "Cheater Boxcar" to help steam loco's move up the long grades of the JJJ&E.

There are three "Cheater Boxcars" in the JJJ&E fleet.
