I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned this event in a thread here on Trainboard. I registered for the convention this morning. Anyone else going to be attending?

I wish. But between an ongoing family issue and my health will not allow the possibility. Hopefully someone will post reports and even some photos.

Do you issue Model Railroad passes? Let's trade!
I would LOVE to go. But I dont think the newly wed wife would like it too much if I bailed out of the honeymoon to attend a train show.
I've had my reservations in for months now, so I will be there. I am looking forward to the tours especially as I haven't either done them before or not in a very long time. I think its going to be a great time.

I had to cancel my trip due to health reasons:tb-hissyfit:. Hopefully I'll make the next one.

I was planning on flying into San Francisco and taking 2-3 days to drive up to the convention. Then another 2-3 days driving to Seattle to fly back home.
But the economy had other plans.![]()

We can no longer go to events where there is no way we can come close to breaking even. Between $4+ fuel and the fact that there is no public show there is no way to cover costs of the trip itself. In addition is the cost of personnel to pack here, unpack & setup at the event, repack after and unpack and setup again here at the shop. Without a WGH show to go along with the NSC event and a major N-Scale layout to bring in modelers.
