Feature request - Thread/topic title editing

    Greetings
I'd like to be able to edit a hread titile, or at least the fisrt post, even after resonses.
    Why?
When a specific question is asked: How do I....? Who makes....?
Often the question is answered in an early response, but 5 people will take the time to respond. This is thoughtful and helpful, but if I changed the title to SOLVED, How do I...?, helpful people could help the next person.

    Hi Marty -
I'm not sure anyone but an administrator can edit a Thread Title.
Most questions that are posted receive many answers reflecting different ideas how to solve the problem, then simply drop off the end of the 'active' forum threads. So don't worry about it friend. It all works out.

However, if you really want it changed, just indicate your wishes either in the thread or by IM to the staff and we can change it.

No worries, I won't ask someone to o extra work, to avoid someone else doing work. I just like the feature from one of the o gauge forums I'm on. It really helps the buy/sell forum as well as with general questions.
