Height of a Preiser N Scale figure

If anyone has a standing preiser N scale figure handy, could you tell me how tall they are (in inches or mm)?

I measured two standing Presier workers with my Harbor Freight digital caliper and range from 11.5 mm to 12.2 mm.

So... 1mm is about 6" which means the 11.5mm figure is about 5'-9" and the 12.2mm is ~6'-1".... they seem to be properly scaled. How do they relate to the Woodland Scenics, Merten and other similar figures????
