Thread: PnP Trains Promotion Offer

  1. #11
    Dear Paul,

I placed an order last Thursday but had a problem with an error in my PayPal shipping address. I've sent two follow-up emails to you with the correct address but I'm not sure if you received them. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Gary Hinshaw

P.S. I too find the site to be slow and the pull-down menus to be misbehaving on a variety of browsers. Specifically, the menus don't echo your selection, and they don't always pass the proper selection to the database. (Just trying to be helpful.) Great promotion though.

I'm not associated with PnP, so his answer will trump mine, but I believe he is using PayPal's merchant tools which allow customers (such as you or I) to check out via PayPal. In effect, the PayPal button IS the check out button. As the buyer, PayPal will extend to you all buyer protection features that are included with all PayPal transactions.

For a start up such as PnP, I believe this is very smart as it allows his customers to jump right in with the piece of mind knowing that PayPal, a common trusted name, is handling their private info.
However if you prefer not to use PayPal, I suggest sending PnP a PM or email and I'm sure you two can work out an alternative form of payment.

Interesting. We'll have to wait for Paul's response then (or maybe you should request a separate invoice).

For me, once I log-in with PayPal, it goes straight to "Select mailing address and form of payment" with the PnP items I selected listed on the left.

    Smile Website issues

    Hello All,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I had our tech/website guys working on the issues that have come up. I explained that people we stating the website was slow. They mentioned that sometimes it can be a server issue of the customer, website or a combination of both. Sometimes the time of day also causes slow downs. They looked at the issue of product selection and hopfully they have that one fixed. I also mentioned that some customers were having problems with paypal. They tried it and it worked fine for them. I also did a test and had no problems.

Please try again. If you have any problems please contact us right away. We have decided to extend our 10% discount offer till Friday since we were having website issues.

Discount code - pnp101# - good until 11:59pm Friday night.

    Thanks
    Paul

    Thank you for your order.
Talking with my IT people they actually recommend Firefox rather than explorer.
