Some Sweet Things I Picked Up.

I try and get down to San Francisco's Japantown Center when I can to find Japanese goodies to add to my collection. Besides being a budding fan of Japanese railroads, I also collect anime, katanas, automotive and Japanese cultural things. One of my favorites places to go in Japantown is the Kinokuniya Bookstore. I can't seem to get out of there for under $200. I've picked up some nice Japanese railfan magazines when I've been there, along with a some really nice automotive mags. Saturday, I found a couple of JR Illustrated Reference Books that are beautifully done. It's mostly full of color N scale drawings of different JR electric, diesel and a few steam locos, diesel and electric railcar sets, passenger cars and some freight cars. They were expensive, $40 each, and I fought with myself on which one to buy, but then I gave in and bought both.
