This is a Micro-trains N Scale 50′ Double Door, Rib Side Boxcar, in the Yreka Western Railroad paint scheme. The road number is YW 25105. It was built August of 1978 by FMC in Portland, OR. It belongs to a fleet of 100, fifty of which were assigned to general service (class XM) while the remainder, including this car, were assigned for use in grain loading (Class XP). The Blue Goose is located in Northern California, 35 miles north of Mount Shasta. Weathering was achieved with acrylics, oils, and powders, striving for the the mid-life crisis of the boxcar that will inevitably be tagged in the coming months.
