The S2 is located in Somers, sitting right beside the "Great Northern Memorial Trail", which is the line running alongside Hwy 93 to Kalispell.

RFE-
The Great Northern Railway had a tie plant located on the north edge of a little town named Somers, in Montana. Somers is on the NW corner of Flathead Lake, and was reached by a short branch line extending south from the town of Kalispell. These two little fireless teakettles were used in that plant.

I never noticed before that these had slide valves. In fact... do any fireless engines *not* have slide valves?
