India ink is a common artist medium. It can be thinned and used to dye wood, color plastics and weather many model items. This thread discusses preparation of an India ink wash (http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=96640) for that purpose. Too much ink can ruin a model, so, as the thread cautions, experiment first!
