This is another thread showing a layout construction from concept to completion. (http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=94742) Actually, as this is now being posted, Another ATSF Admirer (http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/member.php?u=3477) is in the process of construction this Duck River Subdivision. It is a long thread with a lot of photos and a most enjoyable narrative. This construction includes a discussion of both a helix and steep grades. This layout is N scale.
