I have two MKT covered hoppers. They are very nice Life Like H0 scale models, "4427 PS2-CD High Side Covered Hoppers" that I am to assemble for my club layout. In order to use these for operations, I need to change the numbers. Can anyone tell me the correct series for these hoppers? Thanks.

The hoppers are red and both are numbered 9636. It seems to be a very nice kit. I plan to change the numbers with a re stencil font and then weather one a lot more than the other.

Will the Life Like cars require weight to get them to 4.5 ounces? I am not familiar with the Life Like kits.

Here's another Life Like one numbered 9790. Also found a 9727. Doesn't mean those are prototypically accurate numbers though. If no other answer shows, I can check my library over the weekend.

Thanks, Doug. I made some stencil decals for 9610, 9613, and 9625. They should be close and good enough to operate.
