custom GN in N

I might have posted these before but this forum was looking a little bare so I thought I would add some GN photos. This is a photo of two SD-45's, the lead is painted BSB and the rear one is painted as Hustle Muscle. I did not paint these. I'm actually looking at having a couple of my BN SD-45's painted into BSB's as well. Joe

Of all the minimally produced prototypes, this one must be about the most popular. And might just sell decently if anyone ever introduced them. About 25 years ago, I even had one.

Forward a few years and the GN became the BN. Miss the classic Empire Builder colours but the BN Green is better than N&W black.
These are both Athearn Blue Box kits. Hustle Muscle was painted by me and the F-45 is factory. Both have detail parts added to finish them up.

Diezmon very nice indeed. Flash, I will post some more pics of them later this evening. And as for you Hemi, I for one can never get enough of your photos they are too cool. This is becoming a neat thread with all the GN custom power. Boxcab, I will definitely have a string of them, hopefully soon, lol. Joe

Joe, your BSB SD45 is sweet as well--I have the GN wall calendar, 1969, and it has a painting of the new BSB grain hoppers behind solid SD45's in BSB, skirting Glacier Nat'l Park.. Sweeet!:)

Those NW-5 are just so crazy cool, too. So obscure, so few built. Very nicely done. the F45 is very nice as well--I guess I copy-cat'd your number...;)
