I'm trying to find some information on N&W H42 and H43 class hoppers. From what I have gathered from my research, the W&LE had these cars built in 1947 and 1948. The first 1000 were built by Greenville, followed by Ralston with another 2000 in 1947 and 1948. I am assuming that, after the NKP took control in 1949, that these are the same cars that became N&W class H42 and H43.
I know that the NKP painted some of these with NKP lettering while retaining their W&LE numbers, but I am having a very difficult time finding any pictures of these cars. I figured someone might know of a good source of pictures or drawings of these cars. I mainly model the W&LE around the time they were taken over by the NKP and am planning on adding quite a few of these cars to my N-scale roster if I can find some good pictures in any paint scheme - WLE, NKP, or NW. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
