"Ties" ending Monday 10th December 2007

1. All challenges close at 12 midnight (24:00 hours) Eastern Standard Time on Monday 10th December 2007, and will be noted with a "Time's up!" post within the thread.
2. Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photograph rather than using a photograph that you have taken in the past.
3. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!!
4. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged.
5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully.
6. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will be deleted.
7. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between the 8th December and 10th December 2007.
8. Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct.

This is during the end of construction of the new Ramsey (NJ) Park & Ride garage & station. The platforms were extended out towards the tracks. The ties on the right went in & replaced the old ones on trk 1.

Decided I could get in on this one without much trouble, because I knew where a pile of used ties and some hopper cars were and not much of a drive or so I thought. The ties and the cars were gone and so were the two other piles we knew of.
I did get this one of a siding here in town, when the rain stopped for a bit.

Here is my tie entry. I was waiting for the snow to melt a little. This is just out side of Chadwick. I knew they were there when the contest was started. I was tiring to wait till some of the snow would melt to show the ties really were in the photo
