I was thinking that the housing could either be former Soviet bloc or else just postwar European in general. From a distance, it can be hard to tell sometimes.

I was looking around Anchorage Alaska.

Well I was looking around Canada. Didn't look dense enough to be Western Europe. Made my way up to Alaska

I looked around a bunch of France. I certainly did not cover ALL of France. That country is THICK with rail lines.
