Shadows point to the Southern Hemisphere.

Buildings are modern, and well organized. Looks like a first world nation. Most likely Australia, Argentina, Brazil, or South Africa.

Those holding ponds? looks like some of the marshlands all around the SF bay area, which are easily visible from about 20 miles up. So look for bays or river deltas in countries listed above, from 20 miles up. Makes searching easy.

Hey there is a big bay at the bottom of Australia

Hey there are those big holding ponds things

Whats this place called.

Adelaide Australia

Darn you, CURN!

(Seriously... nice deduction, and good job. I had only gotten so far as the southern hemisphere and kind of modernized area and no further.)

Where is Scott Stutzman, anyway? Don't tell me he's got something better to do than hang around on Trainboard at 11:15 PM PDT.
